The Darling Has Arrived, and the Buddhist Prince Descends to the Mortal World

[Plenty of Sweetness, High on Sugar, No Angst + Devoted Couple, Each Other's First Love + Secret Love Comes True + Mind Reading]

A soft, sweet girl from the south × a cold, ascetic, celibate powerhouse

After her grandmother dies, Rong Xi is left with nowhere to go. Following her grandmother's final wishes, she is taken to the capital by her cousin.

In a glittering club where she feels completely out of place, she leans over the railing and watches the boys and girls dancing, though her gaze is unfocused. She envies their freedom.

A cold, heartless male voice interrupts her thoughts. Rong Xi looks over curiously, only to hear a heartbeat racing irregularly. Where did this devilishly handsome man come from?

Leaning against the railing is a tall, slender figure with a perfectly straight posture. A glowing cigarette tip burns red between the fingers of his right hand. Beneath the swirling smoke, his profile is sharply defined, striking yet refined. A faint red beauty mark sits below his right eye, giving him an aura both aloof and bewitching.

One glance, and she is lost for life.

The gears of fate begin to turn. As they spend more and more time together, Rong Xi knows they are wrong for each other, yet she still falls for him, fully aware of what she is doing.

Whenever her heart comes close to him, it slips beyond her control.

…

Just as she begins to believe his heart is beating for her too, reality slaps her hard.

“Qingye, are you and Xiaoxi going to get together?”

Zhang Qi's warm voice comes from inside the room. Rong Xi strains to hear the man's answer, convinced it will be the one she wants.

After all, the man's actions these past two days have been so sweet.

Her heart full of hope, she can't suppress her smile.

“What are you thinking? I'm not a beast. She's still a kid.” His voice is still cool, his tone lazy.

With only a door between them, Rong Xi feels as if lightning has split her heart open. The pain spreads from her chest through her entire body.

A kid!!

How ironic!

And so begins someone's long road to winning her back!
