Dark Campus

The son of a powerful family throws his weight around and bullies others, while a young woman is abused on campus and justice is nowhere to be found.

The police do nothing, so the victim reluctantly cuts her hair and makes herself look ugly to protect herself.

Yet she continues to be targeted.

The county magistrate’s downfall does not stop the law from being upheld, and his son is arrested.

The magistrate’s wife kneels and begs, but to no avail. Her son is ultimately sentenced to life in prison.

The law makes no distinction based on age.

This is a warning that has never left my memories of youth.
