The Struggles of a Rookie Streamer at Fengyi Pavilion

What do you do when life slaps you to the ground and tries to crush your dreams? Stay down, or get back up and accept your fate?

Yang Qingfan chose to stand up, gather his strength, and slap life right back.

You want me to give up on my dreams? No way!!!

Being a freelance singer doesn’t pay much? No problem. I’ll switch to singing in voice-chat rooms. Besides, I’ve got a friend whose coattails I can ride!

A little scene: Two years later, Yang Qingfan stood on the awards stage.

Yang Qingfan: “I’d like to thank the company for nurturing me, my fans for their support, and all the seniors who taught and guided me. I’d also like to thank life for putting me through the wringer!” He paused, then looked firmly into the camera. “And I’d like to thank my colleague and friend, Mr. Mu Yuyang. He was the one who led me into this industry.”

Meanwhile, in H City, Mu Yuyang sat in his hospital bed watching the screen. He picked up his phone and messaged the young man onstage: We’re brothers. You don’t have to say that.

Before leaving the stage, Yang Qingfan smiled confidently at the crowd and silently thought, “Life, I win!”
