There are many times when the male protagonist eats as much as he likes on hungry people for fear of starving them to death. He also eats barbecued fish and other undigestible food. But when he thinks about it, he feels relieved. For the indigenous people who have been hungry for a long time, being able to eat once is really a blessing.
