Global Lord: Leading Mortals in Defying Heaven and Earth

[Not mindless wish fulfillment + no summoning + no System + farming + sci-fi apocalypse + mutation] The Global Lord event began, and everyone was transported to different planets to become lords. They had to play the part of a lord, recruit the local inhabitants, develop their territories, and protect their land, all on their own! Wang Jiutian gained the ability to control the weather and command heavenly tribulations, then drew the hell-level difficulty world of cultivation. On Blue Star, after a mass extinction caused by nuclear wastewater and global warming, a civilization of cultivators rose to power. Cultivators used radiation to strengthen themselves and developed entirely new technologies. Ordinary people, however, still lived in the age of swords and saw cultivators covered in tentacles as immortals! They yearned to become immortals themselves! Mortals and cultivators had sprung from the same roots, yet gradually became two utterly different kinds of beings. After arriving in this world, Wang Jiutian struck down a cultivator with lightning and discovered that a spiritual root was actually just an organ, one that could be transplanted! When everyone in his territory learned the truth, they went wild, setting out to evolve into cultivators by any means necessary! The mortals armed themselves with firearms and began a campaign to slay immortals! A railgun is the ultimate weapon! Hand over your spiritual root! Everything was progressing steadily in the right direction when the System suddenly sounded an alarm. [The insect horde has invaded the planet. Prepare yourselves.]
