Showbiz: I Really Am the High-EQ Type

After transmigrating to a parallel world, Wei Shang opens his eyes to discover that he has become an actor in the entertainment industry. He’s just finished performing “Ascending the Spring Mountain” with Bai Jingting and is about to go backstage for an interview. Luckily, he activates the Nerve-Hitting System. As long as he gets under someone’s skin, he can accumulate Nerve-Hitting Points and exchange them for all kinds of rewards. But Wei Shang is deeply troubled by the prospect of offending people. After all, his “exceptionally high” emotional intelligence is practically in his blood, and he genuinely has no idea how to get under anyone’s skin. Host: With so much pressure, how did you manage to perform? Wei Shang: Mostly thanks to Xiaobai. Good thing he was there to shelter me from the storm! Bai Jingting: ??? You’d better not be implying that I hogged the Spring Mountain! Years later, the Golden Elephant Awards present their Lifetime Achievement Award, and the hall erupts in applause. The moment the host says “Wei Shang,” the applause abruptly stops. After taking the stage, Wei Shang helplessly spreads his hands. “Honestly, acting talent is secondary when it comes to winning this award. In emotional intelligence, your guy here is in a league of his own!”
