Reborn in the Cold Palace, This Palace Maid Will Become Empress

Please read before starting: This story’s performance wasn’t good, so I stopped writing it. If it gets more traffic later, I might write some extra chapters.

(Not a pure romance: the male lead isn’t devoted, but the female lead is. He favors others early on, then dotes only on her in the middle and later parts. Set in an imaginary dynasty, with some original worldbuilding.)

Bai Luoyu is reborn, returning to the day she accompanied Consort Yu into the Cold Palace.

In her previous life, Consort Yu’s claims that she had a clear conscience and that mistress and maid stood united kept her languishing in the Cold Palace for three years.

In the end, Bai Luoyu was disfigured and crippled. After leaving the Cold Palace, Consort Yu handed her over to her own nemesis. She struggled desperately, but still died on a winter night.

She was unwilling to accept it! She had worked so hard for Consort Yu, making plans on her behalf, all because Consort Yu had saved her mother.

After death, Bai Luoyu drifted through the palace for decades, only to discover that someone else had saved her mother.

Why had His Majesty ordered her bones collected and her memorial tablet sent to Huguo Temple to be enshrined?

After His Majesty was assassinated and died, Bai Luoyu was reborn!

In this new life, she will take revenge on all her enemies and become the ruler of the harem, making everyone kneel at her feet!

But what is His Majesty’s deal? She only wants to repay his kindness, yet he wants her heart, too. He knows perfectly well she’s no good, but still says he wants to be her blade?

The secrets of her birth and the unknown dangers that keep appearing are gradually coming to light.

From a mere palace maid to the ruler of the harem, Bai Luoyu doesn’t care what others think of her. As long as she’s happy, that’s all that matters.

One baby after another, she really doesn’t want to give birth anymore!
