Apocalypse: The World Falls Silent, and I Awaken an Acoustic Shield

Fifty percent of people around the world are killed by monsters for making a sound. Forty percent inhale poisonous gas and turn into zombies. The entire world enters an era of deathly silence. While trying to protect his girlfriend, Shen Xingchen is injured and cruelly abandoned. Everyone he helped betrays him and drives him out of the safe house. By chance, he obtains a protective shield that makes him immune to attacks from monsters and zombies. He seizes a supermarket and stockpiles all kinds of supplies, living a life of plenty in the apocalyptic city. His girlfriend, who betrayed him, begs to get back together so she can survive. A haughty goddess offers herself to him. A rich second-generation heir is willing to hand over his girlfriend and become a lackey at Shen Xingchen's feet, all for a packet of instant noodles. Shen Xingchen sneers. "I won't pity the trash that betrayed me. You deserve to die." He throws an empty can at the rich heir's feet. A monster detects the sound, rushes over, and devours the heir alive. The alien monsters known as Destroyers, who were supposedly capable of wiping out humanity, have actually become his attack pets, ready to come and go at his command.
