Me, with All Five Spiritual Roots, Getting Cozy with the Heavenly Dao

[1v1] + [two female leads] + [happy ending] + [light, satisfying read] (There may be one or two plot points with minor setbacks.)

P.S. The protagonist is not human.

Some other characters may face a little angst, but the villains won't get happy endings. The protagonist will make them pay for everything.

Ji Yeqi has depended on Aunt Bai since childhood. Aunt Bai was gravely injured while fleeing with Ji Yeqi.

To find a way to heal Aunt Bai, grow stronger, and uncover the truth she seeks, Ji Yeqi decides to join a sect.

When she first began cultivating, Aunt Bai told her she had an all-element spiritual root. But when Tail Extreme Academy held its entrance tests, her result showed a water spiritual root.

At the academy, she meets Qiu Huqing, the proprietress of the Myriad Delicacies Restaurant, who is secretly a young lady from a top family and Ji Yeqi's cousin.

After an adventure in a secret realm, Ji Yeqi uncovers a conspiracy among the academy's leadership and refuses to submit to them. With Qiu Huqing's help, she leaves the academy.

As Ji Yeqi ventures out on her own, she gathers more and more spirit beasts around her.

And, gradually, she falls for Qiu Huqing's doting affection.

Later, while the two are sorting through their belongings, Ji Yeqi unexpectedly discovers a painting. The person depicted isn't her, yet looks remarkably like her.

“So what do you really think of me?” Ji Yeqi storms out, slamming the door behind her.

Later, Ji Yeqi discovers that Qiu Huqing is more than just a restaurant owner, and that she herself isn't a stand-in for the person in the painting…
