Pokemon: Why Isn't This Anything Like the Book Said?

This book has already fallen off after its debut, so although I'll keep updating, my abilities may not be enough to make the later parts exciting. No heroine + a System without AI + pseudo-army building The plot doesn't follow the original. (The early part moves very fast, the middle slows down a little, and it's only later that he'll catch rarer Pokemon.) (In the middle, he'll catch a Legendary Pokemon through his own efforts, but he won't bring it out often.) Doesn't the book say there's a Starter Pokémon? Why don't I have one? Doesn't the book say there are lots of Poke Balls? Why don't I have any? Doesn't the book say there's a Pokedex? Why don't I have one?
