On a business trip, Li An comes across a bank of fog. As it appears, she encounters many divine beasts she’d only ever heard about in ancient books. In the midst of her fear and unease, she meets Jiang Ran, only to discover that Jiang Ran’s fate is inextricably tied to these divine beasts. The two keep running into all kinds of strange happenings in the mountains and caves. When it’s all over, will they still be able to return to the peaceful life they had at the start, just as they hope?
