The Distant Girl, As I See Her

[Family power struggles + restrained emotions + the proud one bows down + bad ending]

[Cool, shy Xia Xi × devilishly handsome, brazen Duan Yixuan]

Timid and cowardly Xia Xi grows and transforms time and again. An encounter changes the peaceful life she was meant to have. She thinks she's starting a new life, but little does she know that everything is the beginning of a conspiracy.

As the conspiracy unfolds, she also meets a brazen, devilishly handsome man.

At first they can't stand each other. Later, they work together and gradually grow closer.

Xia Xi thinks they'll always keep things that way, but by a twist of fate, she saves a sweet younger guy who starts showering her with declarations of love.

One man suddenly feels a sense of crisis unlike anything he's felt before.

The first time they meet: "You want me to take her?"

Later: "You little brat, you think you can set your sights on someone I practically raised?"

"Marking your territory?" Duan Yixuan lowered his head with a smile. When he looked up, he casually stubbed out the cigarette between his fingers. "She's always been mine."

"What makes you say she's yours, big sister?" the sweet young guy asked pitifully.

"When I first met that little brat, you were still in diapers, probably scavenging for food somewhere."

From initial disdain and contempt to eventually kneeling for love.

The highest form of love is heartache.

When one doesn't know how to express themselves and the other doesn't know how to love, what sparks can fly when their naive hearts collide?
