The ending is a bit sad, but otherwise it should be considered a masterpiece. I have been a bookworm for 37 years, and my current novels can be summarized as "patterned". Basically, you know the ending as soon as you see the beginning. What's a bit outrageous is that except for the names of people and places, the plot remains exactly the same. What a tragedy for the world of fiction. For this reason I rarely read a novel from beginning to end. I was surprised to finish reading this novel. This can be regarded as a healing novel. Everything is so beautiful, from family ties to friendship and love. I think the final ending is well written like this, and it doesn't hurt my heart. It's just that the three little ones made me feel a little stuffed. I love dogs, but that's why I don't keep dogs now.
