Slashing My Way Through Teyvat

When he was young, Zhong Yao left Liyue and his childhood friend Hu Tao to set out alone on a journey.

Following his master's teachings, he trained relentlessly and gathered inheritances scattered throughout Teyvat, eventually becoming a sword immortal of his generation.

But when he returned to Liyue Harbor aboard Beidou's merchant ship, he saw a blond traveler with a mysterious flying companion getting very close to Hu Tao...

Here are some characters' opinions of Zhong Yao.

Tartaglia: “If I could, I'd really like to fight that guy once, even if my instincts tell me not to try.”

La Signora: “He's dangerous. Any power that cannot be controlled should be destroyed.”

Scaramouche: “That guy killed the Doctor right in front of me. Sure, it was only one of hundreds of him, but no doubt about it, I like this guy. Hahaha!”

The Knave: “A powerful and benevolent swordsman. Rationally speaking, I dislike a threat like that, but he's an exception.”

Furina: “Ah... Who? Oh, that handsome young man? I once invited him to perform at the theater, but he rejected me on the spot. Hmph! Anyone who dares reject me, Focalors, deserves to be locked away in the Fortress of Meropide!”

The Doctor: “I want to cut him open and study him, to see what kind of physiology could create such a monster. He killed one of my segments... It doesn't matter.”

The God of Wisdom: “My super-intelligence tells me I should be friends with him. He really is a good friend, but I haven't told him about my predicament.”

Zhongli: “Generally speaking, it would be perfectly reasonable for Liyue to produce another martial god, wouldn't it?”
