While writing "Never Forgetting, at Last Answered", I often find myself wondering what depth of emotional bond could make two people remain each other's only choice for so many years. Can ordinary people really find a love this beautiful in real life?
Some say that the couples who make it to the end are often not those who fall in love over time, but those who fall in love at first sight. Only a choice made by their genes can keep them holding on to that heart that says “I love you,” even after life has worn them down over the years.
Yes, I believe in love at first sight. But in the years that follow, there are so many things that can wear love away. I can't help imagining that perhaps only a bond from a past life, all that love that went unfulfilled, can forge a love so deeply etched into the soul that it survives even the death of the body and stands the test of time.
So I wanted to write a novel about past and present lives, and that is how the "Three Dreams" series came to be.
This is the first book, "Building Long Years on Longing", a story about a beauty and a gifted young man amid the chaos of war.

But just like that turbulent period of history, no matter how strong their hearts are, they cannot ultimately withstand the ravages of fate.

Give their lives for their country, or stay together for love?
