Journey to the West: From the Start, I Became an Auspicious Beast of the Heavenly Court

(This book mainly follows the original work and mythology, and avoids getting tangled up in Primordial World lore as much as possible!!!)

Qi Xiao, a modern college student, is reborn in the world of Journey to the West through a twist of fate, becoming a lucky qilin beast in the Heavenly Court's Imperial Beast Garden.

When the Jade Emperor decides he wants to eat qilin brains, Qi Xiao has no choice but to flee.

He seizes the chance to slip away from the Heavenly Court and become a demon in the mortal world.

Qi Xiao: “The Supreme Old Lord is my master, and the Seven Great Sages are my brothers. Who would dare defy me?”

The Supreme Old Lord: “I casually picked up a disciple, and now he has drawn the attention of the Three Realms. How gratifying, how gratifying!”

Patriarch Bodhi: “I merely gave you a cultivation manual, and you went and studied Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism all at once?”

Buddha Tathagata: “I only wanted Buddhism to spread eastward. How did someone end up stealing my home?”

The Jade Emperor: “One day, I only wanted to eat qilin brains, but in the end, he set his sights on my throne!”
