Fate Begins: My Childhood Sweetheart Has a Razor-Sharp Tongue

[Childhood sweethearts + devoted to each other + smart leads + revenge and putting scum in their place + equally matched leads + happy ending]

Original title: Shattered Bodhi

A cool, resolute wintersweet blossom vs. a righteous young man

In early spring, apricot blossoms fluttered all around. Ren Yunzhou met his childhood sweetheart, Bu Yiyou, and knew at first sight that she was the one. After that, there was no turning back. He brought her sweet-and-sour fruit after her training, bought her hawthorn cakes when she was sad, remembered that she liked plain white clothes, and accompanied You'er back to the capital.

He wanted to walk the same path as You'er. She wanted revenge, so he would be the sword in her hand.

But everything changed when a great fire razed the manor and his mother and You'er both disappeared.

Three months later, news arrived in the capital that the Princess of Jingguo was coming. But Ren Yunzhou no longer remembered anything from before. All he knew was that he was a physician, and that he should open a clinic and devote himself to healing the sick.

If wintersweet blooms in the bitter cold, then I will climb that steep mountain.

Note: The male lead gets clingy and teary-eyed around the female lead, calling her You'er every other word. In front of everyone else, he's the young lord, heaven's favored son, and there's nothing he wouldn't dare do.

They are equally matched, equally matched, equally matched. This is not a case of a strong heroine with an even stronger hero. A relationship between equals is always the best choice.

Both leads have tragic pasts, and they save each other.

The heroine is a slow-burn type. Because of her past, she's cool and hard to approach, and she speaks with cutting bluntness, treating everyone equally by taking them down a peg, including the male lead.
