The first second-person xianxia fantasy novel to debut online!
Experience a power fantasy from the male protagonist’s point of view!
In ancient times, humans lived alongside demons and beasts. But from the age of the Three Sovereigns, Huangdi, Fuxi, and Shennong, many exceptional figures came forth. They understood the ways of change in Heaven and Earth, cultivated the principles governing human affairs, and sealed countless ghosts and demons beneath mountains and rivers.
But the world is unpredictable. Later, the Water God Gonggong fought Zhuanxu for the throne. In his fury, Gonggong struck Mount Buzhou, breaking the pillar of Heaven and sinking the earth.
Nine evil spirits seized the chance to escape their seals. They descended into the mortal world and were condemned to reincarnate through every dynasty for all eternity, bringing calamity wherever they went.
This is merely an ancient legend, and there is no reason to take it as fact.
That is, until the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, when the evil spirits descended upon the world and incited the feudal lords to wage war.
It was a lifeless age, when ministers murdered their rulers and filial sons murdered their fathers in numbers too great to count. Human life was worth less than weeds.
It was also a vibrant age, when everyone longed to make their voice heard and understand the Way and principles of the world. Later generations gave it a name: the Hundred Schools of Thought contending!
Among them were several sages who understood the laws of Heaven and Earth. Hidden within various schools and sects, they passed on the Way, taught their disciples, and answered their questions.
The schools and sects concealed themselves in famous mountains and great rivers, or among the common folk, seeking to end this age of chaos and purge the nine demons.
From then on, cultivation had a path.
Through reading and martial training, scholars mastered the literary energy of the world and cultivated the arts of various schools. They walked among mortals, using immortal arts to sweep away evil!
