The youngest prince of the Huayu Kingdom is nearing adulthood, and the struggle for the throne among the princes is about to begin. The court and the kingdom are in turmoil, factions clash over their beliefs, and countless parties form, their rivalries spreading into the martial world.
Li Chenge, the adopted son of a Celestial Master in Pingchuan Province, was framed and saw his cultivation plummet. To escape his pursuers, he followed the Celestial Master's orders and headed east to Wangqiu City to seek a way to overcome his calamity.
But rumors say that the leader of the Thirteen Traitors fled to this city seven years ago, and no one can predict what might happen. The Celestial Master sent a letter to his adopted daughter Lian Qingyue, who was wandering the martial world, telling her to go to Wangqiu City and meet Li Chenge.
Wangqiu has a tower called the Carved Blossom Tower, built by Lian Qingyue twenty-two years ago for the person she loved. The two made a promise: if she ever returned to the tower, he would come and see her.
There would be nothing wrong with going to meet someone, if only it weren't in this very city of Wangqiu...
A naive boy whose heart is set on entering the martial world,
