I'm a Virginia Creeper, Not a Real Tiger!

This is the story, or rather mishap, of an utterly ordinary Boston ivy setting off for the Western Paradise to worship Buddha and seek scriptures (not really) and return some things, accompanied by a half-baked young Daoist, a clingy follower who is obsessed with shipping couples, and a perfectly ordinary human.

The young Daoist is righteous and has made vanquishing demons his duty, with the welfare of all living beings at heart. He often says, “I don't know that spell. You do it.”

The clingy follower carries the grudge of a massacred family. Their spells have a chance of accidentally hitting teammates, so watch out.

As for me? I'm a big shot with a secret identity. The great demons of Chang'an are all my underlings. Tell me, am I impressive or what?

And one more thing: this is a proper fantasy romance, so don't take it as historical fact.
