Rule Horror: A Warning to the World

[Infinite Flow]+ [Not Overpowered]+ [Thriller]+ [Mystery]+ [No Leveling]+ [Connected to Reality]

What makes you think your world is normal? The hot-button issues in your everyday life are the rule-based horror scenarios in this book. These scenarios are not generated by the world of rule-based horror itself, but by human society. The scenarios are warped, but which is warped: the world of rule-based horror or the real world?

After rule-based horror descends upon the world, challengers everywhere are forced to face its scenarios, and their challenges are closely tied to their nations’ fortunes. When the scenarios appear, people are astonished to discover that conflicts in the real world have become their central themes. After each scenario, the conflicts it raises spark heated discussion and drive ongoing social change. What is the true purpose of the world of rule-based horror?

This book is not just about mindless, terrifying adventures. It also focuses on how the real world develops, and one of its major selling points is how the scenarios affect reality. It is well worth exploring. The protagonist, Wang Jiuzhou, is an ordinary farmer’s son whose path to growth is full of hardship. Liu Zhengguo is a gifted elite who breezes through every challenge. None of the characters have special talents: challengers can only rely on their own knowledge and abilities to survive. The book features card items that can improve the margin for error, but cannot make the protagonist stronger or kill the strange entities. Using diamond-rank or higher card items comes at a cost. The entities in the scenarios have feelings, but they must follow the rules and their basic character settings. Challengers obtain tokens by earning the favor of important strange entities, and these tokens serve only as support.
