Yongzheng Dynasty (Part 1 and 2)

I have watched the drama "Yongzheng Dynasty" seven times. Kangxi's imperial intentions and Yongzheng's efforts to rule the country did not hesitate to offend scholars, and were not afraid of the historical pen as iron, laying a firm foundation for Qianlong's prosperous era.

The original work has a touch of mythology, but Mr. Liu's adaptation makes the whole story more realistic and down-to-earth.

"The Yongzheng Dynasty" is not as real and profound as Liu Heping's subsequent works such as "The Ming Dynasty 1566" and "All Quiet in Peking", but it is also far superior to many of today's superficial works. Historical dramas are actually reflections of the spirit of the writing times. As a literary work, "Yongzheng Dynasty" fits the theme of change in that era. Linked to each other, the writing is smooth. If I hadn't been reminded, I would have thought I was reading a true and honest historical novel. Having said this, I am filled with emotion.

Historical novels seek truth rather than truth. This book ranks among the top three.
