Jerusalem Grudges

From the Canaanite people building a city and a country, to the Jews building a city and country, to the "Babylonian Captivity", to the First Dynasty of Persia competing with Alexander, to the competition between Parthia and Rome, to the struggle for hegemony between Ptolemy, Antigonus, and Seleucid, to the competition between Sassanid Persia and Rome, to the competition between the Arab Empire and Byzantium, to the Crusades, to the Ottoman Empire, and all the way to the modern state of Israel, the three major Abrahamic religions focused here, and the changes in each king's power were alternately confirmed. A small city stirred up human history, filled with stories of grievances and grudges, leaving its mark for thousands of years, linking the past and the future.
