Synopsis

Some graphic violence early on.

The timeline is broken, and mysterious powers have swept across Kivotos. Once certain conditions are met, a student who was smiling one second may turn on you with knives and guns the next, while relations between the academies continue to deteriorate.

Wang Yan arrives in Abydos. The Countermeasure Committee is just as familiar as ever, but in the dead of night…

“Huh? Is that Hoshino?”

“Adults can’t be trusted. I don’t know why you came here, but I can’t let you stay. That would be careless, and a potential threat.”

“Wait, Hoshino, you’re going to…”

“Bang.”

…

Wang Yan sits on the sofa with his eyes closed, resting. The window shatters, and a rush of air pours in.

“Here you are, Hina, Chairwoman of the Disciplinary Committee. You even came by plane to find me.”

“As chairwoman of the Disciplinary Committee, I’m dealing personally with an adult who has extensive ‘experience.’”

A stream of bullets pours from the machine gun. Hoshino immediately crawls out from under the sofa and raises her shield, blocking the attack.

Much later, they are both badly wounded. Wang Yan lowers his head, picks up a knife, sighs, and cuts into his artery.

“I failed again this time…”

*Ding! File accessed. Please hold on to your resolve!

The timeline is still shifting, and factions from all sides are tangled together. For the sake of his beloved students, Wang Yan shoulders the responsibilities of an adult and carves out a blue sky for them.
