Novel Synopsis:
In this novel, titled Today in History, I Took Part, the protagonist unexpectedly gains the ability to transmigrate through time. Whenever an important event takes place on that date in history, a mysterious force carries him to that era, where he personally takes part in and witnesses moments that change the course of history.
From Joan of Arc's siege of Orléans to Napoleon's exile, and countless other historical events, the protagonist gains an in-depth understanding of the people and customs of each era through the eyes of a modern man. He struggles to survive amid the tides of history, while also using his knowledge and intelligence to try to influence its course, bringing hope and change to the people of those times.
As time goes on, however, the protagonist gradually realizes that every journey through time could have a profound impact on history. He must tread carefully to avoid upsetting the balance of the past. At the same time, he reflects on his connection to these historical events and the true meaning of his journeys.
This novel not only takes readers back to pivotal moments in history, but also uses the protagonist's journeys to explore the interplay between history and the present, the relationship between individual destiny and the tides of an era, and humanity's eternal pursuit of the past and future. (I even wrote a poem for every chapter, all by myself.)
