“The Great Wall still stands for miles, but Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor, is long gone.”
Time flows on. The Great Wall winds through the mountains like a coiled dragon, but the great emperor who once commanded the world has long since been swallowed by the dust of history.
And yet, amid the endless flood of time, was he not the one lingering regret in the hearts of so many?
Ten thousand years passed in the blink of an eye, and the world turned over and over again. In some unknowable realm, an opportunity quietly took shape. It happened to coincide with the rare alignment of nine stars, an astronomical wonder seen only once in a century. The night was as dark as ink, and the nine stars blazed as if about to tear a rift in time and space. A sudden gale swept across the land, howling as it bent the trees and sent leaves and branches flying, like black wings thrashing in the night sky.
In the silent heavens, stars that had already fallen began to glimmer once more, as though a mysterious force were stirring in the dark.
Hidden from the mortal world, an unnamed mountain stood eerily still. At its summit, an old Taoist with a head of white hair stood with his hands behind his back. He raised his eyes to the sky, his gaze deep yet filled with alarm. Then he formed hand seals and murmured an incantation. As runes flashed, the spiritual energy of heaven and earth surged toward him like a tide.
In an instant, the old Taoist's face turned deathly pale, and a mouthful of blood burst from him. He staggered and stared at the sky, his eyes filled with fear and unwillingness. He muttered, “Unfathomable, truly unfathomable...” It was as if he had foreseen a storm powerful enough to overturn the order of heaven and earth, bearing down with the force of an ancient power.
Come on! 🤭🤭🤭🤭
After reading it for a while, I felt that it was a bit redundant to write about Ying Zheng.
Come on 🙂🙂🙂
