[Mind Reading + Transmigration]
After falling from favor, Crown Princess Su Wan finally remembered that she came from a thousand years in the future. Who would have thought that a useless modern-day woman who just wanted to lie flat could become a workaholic a thousand years ago? Despite her undistinguished family background, she entered the Eastern Palace as Crown Princess thanks to her reputation as a talented woman. But that wasn’t the point. The point was that she had married the historically infamous deposed crown prince, and now she even had a child. It was obviously too late to divorce. Well, then, she’d whip her son and husband into shape together. If even a slacker like her could become Crown Princess, why couldn’t the crown prince work his way up to emperor?
The third time Crown Prince Li Chenyu saw his wife waiting outside the Imperial Study with their child, he finally couldn’t hold back.
“Xiao Yuer is still young. There’s no need for him to attend lessons in the Imperial Study yet.”
“I only thought it would be good for him to hear the words of the sages. That way, he’ll be more sensible when he grows up.” (What nonsense are these old pedants teaching? Do they even know how to teach? No wonder they’ll drive the crown prince mad one day.)
The crown prince froze. What did she mean, they would drive him mad?
Inside the Imperial Study, the Grand Tutor’s hand shook as he held the books of sages. The crown prince would be driven mad by them?
At a palace banquet, Su Wan stared at the Vice Minister of Works as if he were made of gold.
The crown prince wondered to himself if the Vice Minister of Works was some renowned genius from the history books. Should he try to recruit him?
(Aaaah, Lin Huizhi! Lin Huizhi, whose Landscape of Mountain Retreat sold for a staggering 700 million! How many houses could I buy in the capital with that? How can I ask him for a painting without seeming shameless?)
...The crown prince was speechless for a moment. It seemed the Vice Minister of Works really was a genius: one painting could buy a whole lot of houses in the capital.
For a time, Minister Lin’s paintings became more sought after than gold. He couldn’t paint them fast enough. There was simply no end to the demand.
It's a bit about infrastructure construction. I hope that the follow-up won't be too romantic. Now that the male and female protagonists are building the country together, it's very interesting. It's very interesting to intersperse love and family ties.
Is this written about Emperor Taizong Li Shimin and Prince Li Chengqian?
It's pretty cool, looking forward to the follow-up
There are currently no flaws in the plot. The prototype should be based on the era of Li Shimin and his children in the Tang Dynasty (before Li Chengqian was deposed). But it can be read as another novel. The characters' personalities are not particularly the same as those written in history. This book is not entirely about romance, nor is it entirely about the main career line. It's still nice to have both. So far, there are no shortcomings. Good luck to the author.
I read it on behalf of Li Chengqian.
A novel imitating the period of Li Shimin in the Tang Dynasty.
