[Pokemon + transmigration + feel-good + comedy + hot-blooded]
The protagonist, Xiao Yixuan, transmigrates to a world parallel to the Pokemon world. After a few unexpected twists, he ends up catching a different Pokemon by mistake: a Shiny Froakie, instead of the Shiny Caterpie he was supposed to catch. And so the story of a boy and his frog begins.
“Didn’t I teach you? Call old ladies ‘Granny’ and young women ‘Miss.’” Greninja pouted. “I did exactly what you told me to, Boss!”
It all started when Xiao Yixuan saw an old woman about to cross the road. He was just about to help when Greninja beat him to it. The little rascal must have picked this up from somewhere, because it kept calling her “gorgeous old darling” and saying she still had her charms! The poor old lady was so startled that she ran off at the speed she’d had in her youth, leaving her cane behind!
But that wasn’t even what made Xiao Yixuan angriest. Seeing Greninja’s innocent expression, the old lady figured someone must have taught it to say those things, so she asked who had. Without a second thought, Greninja said it was imitating its boss, then pointed at Xiao Yixuan to show her who that was. At the time, Xiao Yixuan thought Greninja was introducing its Trainer to the old woman, so he politely smiled at her.
“Do you know the look she gave me?” The more Xiao Yixuan thought about it, the angrier he got. He pulled out his other Poke Balls and summoned his five remaining Pokemon. “You’d better explain yourself, or you’re in for a serious beating!” Xiao Yixuan’s face darkened.
