A Ruined Apocalypse

How can an ordinary person, with foreknowledge of the future, lead his family and friends through the apocalypse?

Although Shu Yi came back reborn from the apocalypse, was he really reborn? He had only watched the apocalypse unfold like a bystander and learned about it. Being reborn didn’t mean he had personally lived through it. The world he remembered from before, filled with zombies and people eating one another, was something he had merely recorded in his mind, like a movie.

He didn’t come back with the cold-bloodedness, ruthlessness, and decisiveness of someone who had survived the apocalypse...

He was still just an ordinary person with a little foreknowledge. His memories of the apocalypse were only a point of reference. The rest was something Shu Yi would have to experience for himself once he truly entered that world...

(The story starts at a relatively leisurely pace. The first volume mainly covers how everything begins, the preparations, and so on. If you’re not interested in that part, you can skim it to get familiar with the characters and locations, then jump straight to the second volume.)
