My Best Friend's Late-Night Run Killed Me

On our wedding anniversary, my best friend pretended to be on a diet and asked me to go for a night run.

On the way, we ran into a group of thugs, but she shoved me toward them and ran off by herself.

The thugs dragged me away. Just before I died, I heard one of them say:

"Great figure, such soft skin. No wonder Jiang Lanlan couldn't beat her and had to hire us to do the job."

Only then did I understand.

It turned out my best friend had deliberately set me up so she could steal my husband.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day she called to ask me to go night running with her to lose weight.
