When a Rapper Transmigrates to Ancient Times

Xi'an, an ancient capital steeped in the history of Chinese civilization and the Chinese people, was the glorious starting point of the Silk Road and witnessed a thousand years of prosperity and exchange. It is the oldest of China's six ancient capitals, and thirteen dynasties once established their capitals there, giving rise to countless historical legends. In this historic city lived Hu Ge, a recent college graduate. Though he had majored in marketing, deep down he harbored an irrepressible love of rap music. Reality, however, was unkind to the young man. With no work experience, his job hunt was beset by setbacks and difficulties. To make ends meet, Hu Ge was forced to earn a living singing on the street. During one chance street performance, he unexpectedly ran into his ex-girlfriend, who had once left him. Her humiliation cut him deeply, and he lost all desire to keep singing. He decided to take the subway home, and, exhausted, he drifted off to sleep in the carriage. When he awoke, he was astonished to discover that he had transmigrated to the distant past. In this unfamiliar era, Hu Ge relies on his rap talent to survive and bravely embarks on a series of extraordinary historical adventures.
