Synopsis

Empress Ki was the only foreign empress in Chinese history. Originally brought from Goryeo as a slave, she later lost her entire family to the Goryeo king. Thanks to her beauty and intelligence, she became a consort of Emperor Shundi of Yuan, and later an empress after her son was named heir to the throne.
