[Radiant actress Jiang Nianli VS business elite Xi Jinyu]
A marriage contract binds Jiang Nianli, a little-known actress barely on the entertainment industry’s radar, to Xi Jinyu, the entertainment company CEO feared for his ruthless, cold-blooded ways.
“This is just a contract marriage. When the three years are up, we’ll each go our own way.”
Three years later, everyone is shocked to discover that the renowned business elite Xi Jinyu treats the little-known actress Jiang Nianli with the utmost care. At her wrap party, he even kicks open the private-room door and hollers that he’s going to show the “damned” male model who the “real wife” is.
That night, the biggest trending topics out of nowhere are:
[Xi Jinyu’s Knees Are in Danger, Trending]
[Xi Jinyu Kneels on the Remote in the Middle of the Night, Trending]
[Mr. Xi, Keyboard or Remote: Pick One]
Later, people often tease Xi Jinyu about his beaming smile. “Mr. Xi, why don’t you take down the trending topics?”
Xi Jinyu, thoroughly satisfied: “Why would I? My wife makes me kneel because she loves me. Why doesn’t she make you kneel, then?”
Everyone: What a hopeless romantic! Bless them! May they stay together forever!
