Synopsis

A film-school teacher accidentally returns to 1987 Hong Kong and becomes a young gangster. He promptly leaves the gang, then uses Hong Kong dollars to steadily corrupt and win people over. During the final decade of colonial rule, he rises step by step to become the power behind the scenes in Hong Kong. The story features both the entertainment industry and the business world… (A note to my dear readers: This isn't a Hong Kong crossover, and there's no System. The story is on the dark side, so please understand if that's not your thing!) (Also, I initially set each chapter to 4,000 words, then split them into 2,000-word chapters. This made the logic in the first ten chapters a little choppy and caused some punctuation problems. Things improve after chapter 50... Thank you for going easy on me!)

A Great Novel About Transmigrating to Hong Kong

The male lead transmigrates to Hong Kong. Although he has a System, it plays only a minor role. He mainly uses his knowledge from the future to stir things up in Hong Kong, and eventually across the world, taking on financial tycoons from multiple countries.
