Reincarnating in Journey to the West: I Am the Mountain-Guarding Grand Marshal

[Ensemble Cast · No Female Lead · No Clichés · Journey to the West Only · No Primordial Wilderness]

Also known as A Hundred and Eighty Thousand Years of Reincarnation in the Journey to the West

The Journey to the West is a game of strategy that resets once every 108,000 years.

Liu Boqian, an expert on Journey to the West, transmigrates into the book as its strongest mortal: Liu Boqin, the Mountain Guardian.

He thinks his job is to escort Tang Sanzang along the pilgrimage route.

That is, until the monkey who escaped from beneath Five Elements Mountain grabs his shoulder and says:

“Big brother, you finally came. This is the seventh time.”

Sun Wukong retains the memories of seven reincarnations. Zhu Bajie has a journal written for his own eyes only. Sha Monk remembers once shattering a glass goblet at a victory banquet, sparking a war between the Heavenly Court and Spirit Mountain.

And Liu Boqin discovers that his own transmigration is part of some colossal plan.

The final cycle is about to end, and heaven and earth will be destroyed. This Journey to the West is everyone's last chance.

The talisman Tathagata stuck to Five Elements Mountain? If it can hold even Sun Wukong down, it should work just as well on anyone else. Liu Boqin decides to take it.
