The General

To find the one destined for her, she journeys from the misty, rainy lands south of the Yangtze, over mountains and ridges, all the way to the snowy frontier in the north, until she finally draws near. One day, she will tell him that for these ten years, he has lived in her heart, become part of her very bones and blood, and breathed alongside her. She loves him, and only him. So it doesn't matter if he rejects her or doesn't want to respond. She only asks that he not ignore her feelings. This is her own affair, and has nothing to do with him. Even if she gives up, she will do it herself. No one else gets to decide for her. When it comes to him, she is simply this sort of person: always lovesick, and now forever drunk on love.
