Yet There, Where the Lights Fade

To avenge my dead daughter, I offered my soul and self-respect to the devil and set out on a road with no return.

I thought I would spend the rest of my life consumed by hatred, but on this thorn-covered road, someone appeared...

He stood before me, clasped my hand, and cut through every thorn in my way.

Blood stained my eyes, yet light pierced my heart.

So the darkness had always been there, and so had the light.

Only he was gone.

“An Ning!”

I turned around. There he was, among the glowing lights.
