The Little Miracle Doctor of the Northern Song

Gu Wencheng was an elite graduate of medical school and the youngest doctor at Tongji Medical College. After an accident during surgery, he transmigrated to the Song dynasty. He established medical schools throughout the realm and not only improved Great Song’s medical facilities, but also advanced scientific research and industrialization. Thanks to Gu Wencheng, Wang Anshi’s reforms broke through the rigid feudal constraints of the Song dynasty and ushered in a golden age for Great Song. He also defeated the Liao and Western Xia and unified the realm.
