Su Chen woke up one morning.
He discovered that he had transmigrated to a parallel world and was hosting a show called "Experts on Call."
Ding! The Sharp-Tongued System has come online.
On the set, a pompous "expert" was holding forth about problems like graduates struggling to find jobs and small and medium-sized businesses running short of funds.
Every so often, he came out with something outrageous.
Expert: Students, as someone who's been there, let me offer you some advice. You could try taking out a loan to get a job.
The audience erupted. The row of college students sat there, furious but afraid to speak up.
Su Chen: Since you're someone who's been there, you should ask him: Where did you come from? Who sent you here? And what are you doing here?
The expert was dumbfounded.
Expert: Host, that's not what I meant. I mean college students can take out loans to solve businesses' funding problems.
Su Chen: Sure. I'll send you an offer right now. How about you report to my company tomorrow?
Expert: I have bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from a top Chinese university, and I'm a specially appointed expert from America. How dare you look down on me?
Su Chen: Hey, don't flatter yourself. It's not that I look down on you. I haven't even looked at you.
The expert snapped in fury: I really regret coming on your show today. I shouldn't have done it.
Su Chen: You can still leave now, you know!
The expert stormed off the stage.
The college students in the audience burst into thunderous applause.
Viewers in the livestream were laughing their heads off.
The show's ratings exploded.
I thought I was using knowledge to criticize people, but it turned out to be pure scolding.
