Xia's Idyllic Country Life

[A slow-paced rural life story + cozy daily life + ensemble cast] Food blogger and inheritor of an intangible cultural heritage After Fang Juexia got divorced, the wives and daughters of the wealthy all breathed a sigh of relief. They knew that marriage wouldn't last! Just as they were getting ready to mock this country bumpkin, they discovered she had already slipped away! Having walked away with hundreds of millions in assets from her ex-husband, Fang Juexia took her time returning to the little mountain village where she had grown up. She started her retirement early, growing vegetables and flowers, and feeding cats and teasing dogs. From time to time, she shared her pastoral life online. Those cozy scenes of peaceful days won countless netizens over, and they all cried out that they wanted to go home and retire! Just as Fang Juexia was ready to lie flat and become a couch potato, her friends started throwing themselves into one project after another. Her best friend Xiaohua: “Xiaxia, what if we turn the peach orchard on the back hill into a tourist attraction? Think it could work?” Chicken farm owner Dazhi: “Xiaxia, I want to apply for a specialty chicken brand for our village's chickens. Think it could work?” Village official Xiaoren: “Xiaxia, online sales seem to be booming. Think it could work?” Intangible cultural heritage inheritor A Zheng: “Xiaxia, I...” Fang Juexia was so exasperated her head was about to explode. “Let's do it, let's do it! We'll do all of it!” The eyes of a certain inheritor of intangible cultural heritage lit up. “So, Xiaxia, does that mean you'll be my girlfriend?” Fang Juexia was stunned. “I guess... maybe... it might not be out of the question.” * This is a story about a woman and her friends taking things slow as they cultivate the land, while quickly building a beautiful countryside.
