Story of Ruyi: The Radiance of Ling’s Flame

“In the fortieth year of Qianlong, Imperial Noble Consort Wei passed away and was posthumously titled Imperial Noble Consort Lingyi.” The character “Ling” means that a new flame has caught within embers on the verge of going out, much like a tiny spark that can start a prairie fire. Wei Yanwan was just like that character: her flame had been rekindled.

“I’ve finally made it to the end...” After being force-fed the death drug day after day, the once-beautiful Imperial Noble Consort Ling had become a withered shell. In the end, she died with hatred in her heart. When she woke, Wei Yanwan had returned to the rainy night when Consort Jia gave birth. Given another chance, she would seize the moment and win completely this time... Graceful as the moon, Yanwan lovely as spring.
