They’ve Gone Mad, They’re All Fighting Over Me, a Eunuch

[A slow-burn romance, not a body-double story, with a little angst later on]

Lu Yu is a college student and an unlucky soul who turned himself into a eunuch the first time he played in the snow. He thought he wouldn’t last long in the palace, but then a newly appointed general, who might have something wrong with his head, specifically requested Lu Yu as his reward.

But the former crown prince also sticks his nose in. So what if Lu Yu gave him a few bites of food? Did he really have to secretly fall for him?

The emperor is no better, sending people to kill Lu Yu with one hand and save him with the other.

Lu Yu thinks the emperor must have a screw loose.

Yuan Yaozhi kneels devoutly before the Buddha. The abbot asks him, “He isn’t the real Lu Yu.”

Yuan Yaozhi turns the prayer beads in his hand. “I’ve known that for a long time.”
