Genshin Impact: I Pursue Characters to Survive

Jiang Jinyue’s VR headset broke, and now she can’t log out of Genshin Impact.

The game characters are growing increasingly strange. They keep staring at her, which is terrifying, yet they seem to be constrained by some kind of rules.

To survive and return to reality, Jiang Jinyue is forced to take on missions from the System.

System: [Host must win over characters to return to the real world.]

As a seasoned player who has played countless games, Jiang Jinyue is very confident.

No problem! Whatever the requirements are, just name them!

System:

[Whenever a mission to win over a character begins, you will transmigrate into an instance. There are dangers both inside and outside the instance.]

[The main world, Teyvat, is extremely dangerous!]

[If you succeed, the character will automatically join your party and help you escape.]

[If you fail, then

[Bzz, bzzzz, beep… Death.]

You’ve got to be kidding me.

Is it too late to change my mind…?

1. The story combines infinite-flow instances, winning over characters, adventures in the main world of Teyvat, suspense, eerie elements, quick transmigration, and everyday life. “Winning over” is a catch-all term and can mean building familial or platonic bonds, among other things. The story is plot-focused.

2. The protagonist is the Traveler, a game player, and is neither Aether nor Lumine. Ship them however you like.

3. There are no absolute villains. Even when certain characters act excessively early on, it is not what they truly want. Everyone’s choices and allegiances have their reasons.

4. The story contains horror elements and characters may die, though not in the literal sense. It involves shifts in faction alignment, so please be aware.
