A practice piece from my beginner days. Read with caution: I abandoned it for a while because I got busy, then rushed to add an ending. A real unfinished-building project.
Jiang Zao first met Zhou Yinghuai on the first day of the fall semester of her senior year of high school.
After just one glance, she was helplessly swept into the ranks of his secret admirers.
He was talented and handsome, but extremely cold by nature.
Until, at the end-of-term party, he deliberately approached her and called her outside...
Then, one day during winter break, Zhou Yinghuai suddenly vanished without a trace and dropped out of school.
He had entered and left her world in a rush, without leaving the slightest trace.
Her secret crush was just about to emerge from its cocoon, only to be sealed away all over again.
She had always wanted to know.
Did Zhou Yinghuai's attitude toward her... mean that he liked her?
Years later, they met again in another city.
The memories Jiang Zao had buried came rushing back like a tide.
Only then did she learn that she had always been special to him.
Jiang Zao: “Back in high school, I saw someone slip a love letter into your book.”
Zhou Yinghuai pulled her into his arms and softly coaxed her. “I didn't see it. Maybe she put it in the wrong book...”
A sweet, everyday romance.
Both are each other's first and only. Happy ending.
Designer/editor.
I've loved only you since high school.
It's pretty. It's very everyday.
