I Became an Immortal in the Age of Declining Magic

Many years later, when Ye Chu had become a Saint, someone asked how he had risen to prominence in the Age of Declining Dharma and eventually become a Saint. Ye Chu would answer him gravely.

“If you work hard, you can become incredibly powerful too. If you’re asking how I became a Saint, then all I can say is that I owe it to my peers making me look good, and to a bit of luck.”

That was what Ye Chu had said to that person back then.
