Synopsis

Satisfying power fantasy + natural disasters + zombies/mutant beasts/new life forms + supernatural abilities + invincible protagonist + no saintly heroics

Synopsis: An asteroid suddenly appears in the solar system and hurtles straight toward Blue Star like a precision-guided missile. Although every country deploys its trump cards, nothing can stop the asteroid from striking Blue Star. The impact unleashes all kinds of disasters: the arrival of a great ice age, the extinction of some species, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, earthquakes, and more. The viruses it carries also cause humans and other organisms to mutate, making survival even harder for humanity. Yet the asteroid also gives the survivors hope: meteorites that fell to Earth contain gems capable of granting people supernatural abilities.

After his girlfriend betrays him, Ma Yi returns to the moment the asteroid was discovered. Reborn, he declares: If you took something from me, give it back. If it wasn’t mine, I’ll take it for myself. The apocalypse is a wonderful time, because it means I have an unlimited future.
