At the end of the distant age of the dinosaurs, eighty-eight elemental rings came from beyond the heavens. After entering Earth's atmosphere, they were instantly engulfed in flames, becoming eighty-eight elemental bombs that brought the dinosaur age to an end. They scattered across the world.
Five of the most powerful elemental rings fell into Blue Star's five most unusual seas, creating terrifying magnetic fields. People later tried to explore them, but no one ever returned. Thus, they became known as the Five Forbidden Zones.
Throughout history, as eras changed, there were always chosen ones who came across mysterious rings and became superpowered individuals.
Among these superpowered individuals, those with ulterior motives who abused their abilities were called the Fallen, while those who used their powers to protect their communities were called the Ascendants.
