In the Story of Yanxi Palace, Being Langhua Is Easy: Just Lie Flat

Late one night, a seasoned palace-intrigue fan finished binge-watching Story of Yanxi Palace after burning through her precious compensatory leave, and was so furious she felt dizzy.

What! What! What is this supposed to be!

Kindergarten-level palace scheming! A chaotic vegetable market! Surveillance-camera-style shots and Zhizhi’s nonsensical lines!

Ruyi, is something weighing on your mind? Why did you let Hailan and Yingwan suffer for so long!

You scummy dragon, have you lost your mind? You’re the emperor! How did you end up acting like a kept husband!

And Fuca Langhua, you! You come from a powerful clan, you’re the only legitimate wife, you have your younger brother backing you at court, and you’re the leader of the harem. What on earth are you afraid of! Why not just lie flat? Even I could do a better job as empress than you!!!

After waking up from a sleep full of fury, Su Zhenzhen discovered that she had actually become Fuca Langhua, waiting alone for Hongli in the bridal chamber.

After sorting through her tangled memories and thoughts, Su Zhenzhen grinned. She was crazy about all kinds of palace-intrigue dramas and novels, so devoted to them that she never imagined she’d get to experience one firsthand. Now, let this ten-level palace-intrigue scholar teach you all a thing or two and cure your Ruyi syndrome! With Fuca Langhua’s family status and prestige, she could lie flat and win with ease!
