Goodbye, My Love

Ye Zhiheng ordered me to transfer to a branch office out of town. "Having you clinging to me every day really is getting a little annoying," he told someone else. The disappointment that had been building for so long reached its peak in that moment. I suddenly wanted to let myself go. I obeyed the order and left without a word. After I got used to living on my own, Ye Zhiheng started making frequent trips to see me, never seeming to tire of it. He said, "So this is what it feels like to miss someone."
