The main characters are Aventurine and Meli. Meli's name comes from μέλι.
This is a story about companionship and family. We will be each other's best family, and the last family we have.
The story is mainly about Aventurine, after finishing his work on Penacony, being sent to a border star system, where he meets Meli. Curious about each other, they cautiously test the waters, keep each other company, and come to accept one another, eventually becoming family.

When I say family, I mean friends and loved ones. There's no romance! No pairing! At least not in the main story. If I do write a pairing, I'll start a separate story!
